Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and now from 2020 on - has made her famous. The commercials she appeared in were not the only thing she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also an American Jew. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit after her sophomore year, obtained a GED and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
